Paul Warren joins SUDEP Action Board
New trustee Paul lost his sister to SUDEP in 2019.
SUDEP Action is delighted to welcome Paul Warren to its Board of Trustees.
Paul, a co-owner of the HC Media Group, said: “My sister passed away in 2019 from SUDEP. The shock of losing her was devastating, but supporting SUDEP Action gave me a positive focus during an incredibly difficult time. Over the years, I have taken on various challenges in her memory – running hundreds of miles and even jumping out of a plane – to raise vital funds for the charity. Now, I am honoured to take my commitment a step further. Having spent 30 years as an entrepreneur in the marketing sector, my goal is to use my professional experience to help amplify SUDEP Action’s voice. I want to help the charity reach more people, raise awareness of epilepsy mortality risks, and ensure that bereaved families get the essential support they need.”
Paul says it is ‘a profound privilege’ to join the SUDEP Action Board of Trustees.
He added: “I have always wanted to give back on a strategic level. By bringing my 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in the marketing sector to the board, I hope to help SUDEP Action elevate its campaigns, connect with a wider audience, and fundamentally increase public awareness of epilepsy risks. No family should have to lose a loved one without knowing the risks, and I am deeply committed to using my marketing background to help prevent future tragedies and support those left behind.”
