Fundraise for us
Help us to help others
We need your support
SUDEP Action receives no government funding so we rely on our supporters and fundraise to help us do what we do.
Thanks to you, during the last year we were able to support 16,702 people and arrange over 1,600 contact calls / counselling sessions with the suddenly bereaved. Thousands of others living with epilepsy were also able to stay safe thanks to our tools such as the EpSMon app and SUDEP & Seizure Safety Checklist.
How you can fundraise
Get involved
From bake sales and dress down days to sponsored walks and bike rides, there is a fundraising event to suit you.
Organising a charity night, for example, is a great way to raise funds. So are quiz nights, auction nights, race nights or even cake nights! Anything that brings friends, family and colleagues together to raise awareness and funds for SUDEP Action whilst creating opportunities for people taking part to have fun.
Don’t forget to let us know what you are doing and send us your pictures and details. We’d love to share them with others via our social media.

Thank you for supporting us and thinking of us.
Our stance on boxing and mixed martial arts
As a charity, SUDEP Action is committed to supporting anyone who has lost a loved one to epilepsy or SUDEP. We are extremely grateful to every single person who donates or raises funds for our cause.
We do our best to support fundraising efforts set up on our behalf, but we are conscious of the need to balance this against our key messaging on living well with epilepsy and reducing seizure risks as far as possible.
We therefore do not support boxing or mixed martial arts fundraising events. Both sports involve deliberate blows to the head and there is a serious risk of head injury. We know that some people who experience head injuries can go on to develop epilepsy as a result, which in turn can put them at further risk of harm and of SUDEP. Given our priority focus on reducing seizure risk, it would not be appropriate for us to promote or endorse events featuring either sport, or for our logo or name to be associated with such events.
Once again, we recognise and are grateful to supporters for wanting to raise funds to support our work. We hope you can appreciate our position.
Thank you! Every donation we receive helps us move closer to a world where no dies from epilepsy / SUDEP.
