SUDEP Action at PAME

What is PAME?

Partners Against Mortality in Epilepsy (PAME) is a global, diverse group of professional, non-profit, and government organizations that work together to plan and host the biennial PAME conference.

What happens during a PAME Conference?

The goals of the Conference are to:

  • Critically evaluate and understand the risk factors for mortality in epilepsy
  • Review current progress made and future directions for research
  • Learn the latest prevention strategies
  • Collaborate to increase public awareness

When is the next Conference?

Thursday 14 - Saturday 16 June 2018 in Washington D.C.

SUDEP Action will be attending the 2018 Conference - Jane Hanna, CEO and Rosemary Panelli, International Research Consultant. Jane and Rosemary will be leading a presentation showcasing the work of SUDEP Action (in the UK and overseas) over the last 21 years. Vital work that has brought the bereaved community together and driven change in the clinical community to tackle epilepsy deaths.
