Purple Day 2024

What is Purple Day?

Celebrated annually on March 26, Purple Day aims to increase public understanding of epilepsy. Cassidy Megan from Canada founded the first event in 2008. Motivated by her own diagnosis and struggles of living with epilepsy, she realised the importance of helping others to understand more about this neurological condition. Now, Purple Day is an international day supported by epilepsy organisations worldwide. On March 26th people in countries around the world will come together to promote epilepsy awareness.

How to get involved

Take part in Purple Day and help us raise awareness and share messages to get others talking about epilepsy and epilepsy risks.

Let us know about any fundraising events you are holding - or celebrate all things purple on the day!

Send us your pics or tag us in on social media so we can share further.

If you can make a donation, large or small that would be greatly appreciated    donate to SUDEP Action

Every bit of support can make a difference because you never know who will see what you are doing  - so wear purple, bake purple, shout purple, think purple!

Get in touch via [email protected] to let us know your purple plans!
