MP event on Purple Day 2018

The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Epilepsy are holding an event in Parliament, Westminster to coincide with Purple Day on Monday 26 March 2018.

The afternoon event will be attended by representatives from SUDEP Action, Young Epilepsy, Epilepsy Society, Epilepsy Action and Epilepsy Research UK.

It will be a great opportunity to highlight issues from our bereaved community and how MPs can help SUDEP Action to tackle epilepsy deaths.

All MPs are encouraged to come along - why not contact your MP representative today to let them know and encourage them to speak with the SUDEP Action team?

Following our recent Westminster event where over 20 MPs engaged with SUDEP Action about the issues that are important to us and our supporters, we want to reach even more MPs at this event.

You can send your MP a copy of our MP Briefing document, which has lots helpful information on the effects and risks of epilepsy, as well as background information on SUDEP Action and most importantly, how they can help.

Engage with us over social media and let us know if your MP will be joining us on 26 March 2018 to help raise awareness - #PurpleDay
