As seizures are unpredictable, people with epilepsy may not always know when they may happen, making them potentially dangerous

Because 10% of people will have a seizure at some point in their life it is helpful to know how you can help if you see someone having a seizure:

The person may have a medical ID bracelet, care plan or emergency contact details on them. If safe to do so, check to see if they have this information. If they do not have anything obvious, or it is not safe to look, the following is a useful guide to help you support them:
